Formal Qualification Requirements

• At least 2 years insurance broking experience
• Knowledge of personal lines products and insurance market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A team player with demonstrable ability to plan, multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Cert CII or proof that you are working towards this. We may help you with the cost of obtaining this qualification.

Principle duties

• Dealing with New Business, Renewals, Mid Term Adjustments and Claims
• Communicating with clients and insurers both over the phone and via email
• Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities from your own account and cross sales within the team
• Maintaining high levels of existing business retention
• Building strong, long-term professional working relationships with clients, colleagues and underwriters, providing expert advice and promoting exceptional standards of customer care
• Opportunity to attend client meetings and taking part in networking events

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm this could vary depending on workload
